IOL-16DI/DOP-M12A-FLP I/O-Link16DI/DO configurable slave module
IO link devices have four transmission methods:
- Process data:The latest status of sensors or execution devices, such as speedProcess data is automatically transmitted at regular intervals, periodically, and can be processed at most32-bit process data can be processed, which is defined by the controller (PLC)
- Status value:Indicate whether process data is valid or invalid, and at the same time, these data and process data areInitiate periodic transmission
- Device Information:Contains device definition information, such as basic information such as serial number, version number, or moreAdvanced information, such as parameters or diagnostic information, can be obtained from each IO link deviceThe device information is obtained in a non periodic manner based on the request of the IO link master deviceSent, which means that this signal is not actively sent, but rather by the main deviceAfter the request is sent, the device information can be read from the device or written to the device
- event:A device can emit an event, which in turn sends an event to the IO link master deviceExisting information, an error or warning message is an event, such as a short circuit orThe information of device overheating can be used to display parameters or to display information on HMIFor example, error messages such as line short circuits or communication errors until the IO link master deviceProcess this information with an advanced controller (PLC)The transmission of device parameters and events is independently sent in each process data transmission cycleThis means they do not influence each other, so there is no need to wait for buffer messages for the transmission of critical informationSend the message
